About PECO

Since its founding concert in 2005, The Portland Ensign Choir and Orchestra has performed throughout the Portland, Oregon region with favorite American folk tunes and hymns, stirring patriotic anthems, delightful Christmas music and classical repertoire by composers of all periods.  The choir and orchestra have performed with northwest organizations such as the Newport Symphony Orchestra, the Willamette Falls Symphony and with national stars like concert violinist Jenny Oaks Baker, and Broadway singer/actor/recording artist Dallyn Vail Bayles.  Attendance ranges from 5,000-7,000 audience members each season.

The Portland Ensign Choir and Orchestra is a non-profit organization and is comprised of over 120 singers and 50 instrumentalists.  Members or the choir and orchestra must audition and if selected they volunteer their time and some travel as far as 100 miles each way to participate in rehearsals and performances. Rehearsals are open to the public.  For complimentary concert tickets to members of the media, or press inquiries, please contact pr@portlandensign.org
